Take things slowly. Pause, breathe, adjust the angle, or add a small amount of sperm-safe lubricant. If discomfort continues, especially with vaginismus or pelvic pain, it may help to speak with a pelvic health specialist.

No. It’s designed for shallow placement and doesn’t need to reach the cervix. Once it’s just inside the vaginal canal, it’s in the right spot — sperm will travel upwards on their own.
